SHIPPING
Once you place your order it will be dispatched within 24 hours, if not sooner.
When your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can stalk your Golden Kind purchase to your door.
Our shipping is done via a carrier pigeon, jokes we use Sendle, who are fantastic and 100% carbon neutral! We are advised that in general, same-city deliveries arrive overnight and deliveries to nearby cities arrive within 2-3 days. Sometimes we use good ol Aus Post (if you live in a remote part of Australia) or if you have paid for express shipping.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping can take between 10-25 days depending on your location although sometimes it is much quicker. The cost of customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
If the parcel is unable to be delivered due to customer error and therefore returned to sender (RTS), we will contact the customer with options for re-shipment at the customer's expense.
International Customs Fees
All custom fees, taxes and any other additional costs associated with your purchase overseas are the responsibility of the customer. These are not included in the cost of the order or shipping fee.
We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to your purchase.
The Golden Kind is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order. We do not offer refunds for these costs.
If an order is refused by a customer due to customs duty, taxes and/or fees, the parcel will be held for 2 weeks. If these fees are not paid in this time the parcel will be abandoned. Subsequent fees may be applied to any refund, if eligible. The Golden Kind is not responsible for refunding or handling of an abandoned order.

RETURNS AND STORE CREDITS

Spend over $100 for FREE Returns within Australia. Our simple return process means that you can send any product back within 14 days for a The Golden Kind store credit.

Step 1 - Contact us at EMAIL and let us know your order number and reason for return.
Step 2 - We will respond with a prepaid shipping label. Then drop your items off to Aus post location, or have them outside your door for Sendle to pick up ect.
Step 3 - Wait for us to get in touch, we will do this within 3 business days of receiving your return.
Returns Ts & Cs:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of being received by the customer.
- Items must be sent back in the exact condition in which they were received; unwashed, unaltered, unused, free from any markings, make-up, perfumes, pet hair, with all original tags attached, still in their calico bags and looking as fancy as they did when they arrived to you.
- Any items purchased on Sale / Clearance or purchased with the use of a promotional discount code will not be eligible for return.
- Orders over $100AU within Australia are eligible for free returns.
- Any orders under $100AU, follow the steps above to return your item - you will just need to cover the cost of shipping.
- Shipping charges and store credits are non-refundablek/k transferrable.
Exchanges
Regrettably, we can not process exchanges. For a different item or colour simply return your current item back to us (following the return terms and conditions) and place a new order for the item that you would like instead.
Faulty Items
Sometimes we make mistakes! If you are sent a faulty product, please get in touch with us via info@thegoldenkind.com within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will sort this issue out right away.
False claims regarding faulty items will be returned to sender at the customer's expense.
International Returns
1 - Please get in touch with us at info@thegoldenkind.com and let us know your order number and reason for return.
2 - All international returns will need to be shipped registered post with a tracking number. Shipments that take over 3 weeks to arrive to us in Australia will be returned to sender and not accepted.
3- Wait for us to get in touch. We will do this within 3 business days of receiving your return.

PRODUCT AND ETHICAL INFORMATION
Our swaddles are designed in Australia and manufactured in China with a lady that I have worked with for 5 years. The factory is ethically run with no child labour or worker abuse of any kind. The factory has always ranked above average on yearly BSCI audit report for fair and safe work. It was really important to me to ensure that we have a kind and caring relationship with the makers of our product.
We aim to work with fabric that is as sustainable as possible and as we grow we hope to do more. Currently we use organic bamboo and cotton blend 1.6cm muslin check and organic cotton for our baby tees. Our prints and printed on recycled 300 GSM A4 paper and printed in Sydney.

The Golden Kind aims to take really pretty pictures that show our products as close to the actual products' colouring and appearance as possible. Sometimes we use fun filters on some of our images so be sure to check the website for the non-edited/unfiltered image of the product to see the item as close to its true colouring as possible.
